SUPPORTING OUR VETERANS
EHIM specializes in providing first fill/emergent fill pharmacy services to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Our national network of more than 64,000 participating pharmacies
enables beneficiaries receiving service from any Community Based Outpatient Clinic, VA Medical Center, or VISN across the country to find a local participating pharmacy in their area.
Our proprietary claims system allows EHIM to support first fill prescriptions, limited day supplies, closed network of authorized prescribing physicians, and custom, generics-first formularies as designated by the VA. Additionally, contract modifications, formulary updates or one time overrides can be implemented immediately, if required.
Our certificate based eligibility allows the pharmacy to easily identify a beneficiary to provide them quick and efficient service while our 24/7/365 Pharmacy Help Desk
is available to assist with any questions regarding these programs. EHIM’s primary goal is that the beneficiaries receive the medications they need while providing maximum convenience and second to none customer service.
Our proprietary, custom reporting for our VA contracts provide monthly and quarterly feedback on prescribing patterns, formulary adherence, as well as utilization and dispensing rates. Other custom management reports are available to support the overall, comprehensive objective of these contracts.
