Lewis is the keynote speaker for the ADAP 2012 Annual Conference in Washington, DC on Monday, August 21, 2012. The Summit is being held through Tuesday, August 21, 2012. The fifth annual conference is titled “STAMP Out ADAP Waiting Lists” and is co-sponsored by the ADAP Advisory Association and Community Access National Network Housing Works. This year’s conference has several goals:

Most major drug manufacturers sponsor initiatives called patient assistance programs, which allows patients meeting certain income levels and other qualifications to receive free or low-cost prescription medication; ADAPs are a sub-set of these types of program.

June 1, 2011 – SOUTHFIELD, Michigan – EHIM CEO and founder Mindi Fynke is pleased to announce that Jeffrey R. Lewis has joined the EHIM family as Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective immediately. As COO, Mr. Lewis will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company.

Mr. Lewis served as Chief of Staff to Teresa Heinz, and President and Chief Operating Officer at the Heinz Family Philanthropies between 1991 and his appointment at EHIM. He is experienced in entrepreneurial philanthropy, major fiscal development, and large scale change management. Previously, he served in Congress as Staff Director to the late Senator John Heinz, and on the senior staff to other senators.

Mr. Lewis has a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Michigan, a Master of Science Degree in Gerontology from The University of Southern California, and his Juris Doctorate from The Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, OR.
